Young Entrepreneurs Program
This flexible 2 hour block, 15 day program is designed for virtual participation administered after school.
This program is designed to empower participants (ages 13-19) with the understanding of the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur. The program will demonstrate the beginning planning process of business creation as well as strategies of organization and implementation of planning. The program will assist the participants in the creation of their very own business plan. The program will help participants ascertain pertinent information which should be included in a business plan. Participants will also learn basic financial literacy in addition to opening a bank account containing a $150 deposit.
At the completion of this program, the participants will be able to apply business creation pre-planning techniques, arrangement and recording of ideas to identify necessities of business creation. This program is also designed to acquaint each participant with the confidence of creating a business through preparing a working business plan. Our goal is to introduce participants to business ownership. The program will give insight on the following:
