This program is designed to empower participants (ages 10-16) with the understanding of self-assembly. The program will introduce various tools and their functionality, proper use of tools with proper maintenance of tools.  The program will identify all of the components that comprise a bicycle and will instruct the proper assembly of the bicycle’s components. 

 

At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to identify various tools and their functions, identify various components that comprise a fully operational bicycle, and obtain hands-on experience of bicycle assembly and operation.  This program is also designed to acquaint each participant with confidence on being a craftsperson.  Our goal is to introduce participants to the vocational sector. The program will give insight in the following industries:

Carpentry

Skill Trades

Cycling

Technical Repair
